Do I need a card to start?
No. Every new workspace gets 14 days of full access without a card, covering up to 5,000 products and 10 users. The Plans page in the app shows how many days are left.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Your workspace moves to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan. Nothing is deleted. Free includes up to 150 SKUs; if you have more, your products stay as they are and new ones can't be added until you upgrade or remove some.
Can I choose a paid plan before the trial ends?
Yes. Pick a plan on the Plans page in the app at any time. Billing starts the day you check out, and the trial ends then.
What counts toward my limits?
Products: each distinct SKU in your catalog. Re-importing a product you already have doesn’t use another one. Users: active members plus invitations not yet accepted. Assistant questions: each message you send to the Zerqano assistant. Nightly restock planning doesn’t count. Document pages: each page of a PDF or multi-page TIFF scan you upload; a photo, spreadsheet, Word file or text file counts as one page.
What if we have more products than our plan includes?
A paid plan can go 25% past the products it includes, and nothing stops. Past that, new products can’t be added until you upgrade or remove some. Free stops at the number it includes. Either way, the products you already have stay as they are.
What if we use all our assistant questions or document pages?
A paid plan can go 25% past the questions and pages it includes, and you’ll see a notice in the app. Past that, the assistant and document reading pause until your allowance renews next month, or you upgrade. Free and the trial pause at the number they include. They also have a daily limit: 20 questions a day on Free and 200 in the trial, reset at midnight UTC.
Will we be charged for going over?
No. There are no overage charges. The extra 25% on a paid plan is included in its price; past it, things pause instead of billing you more.
What if we need more users?
When your workspace has as many members and open invitations as your plan includes, new invitations are refused until you upgrade or remove someone. Nobody already in the workspace loses access.
How do upgrades and downgrades work?
Change plan from the Plans page in the app, and it takes effect right away. You see the exact amount before you confirm. A higher plan or a switch to a different billing period is charged now, less the unused part of your current period; a lower plan is credited to your next invoice.
Can we cancel any time?
Yes. Open Manage billing in the app and cancel there. Your plan keeps running to the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you can resume it until then. After that, your workspace moves to the Free plan.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
Nothing is deleted when you cancel. Your workspace moves to the Free plan with all its products, history and settings. If you have more than 150 products, they stay; you just can’t add new ones. A Free workspace with no sign-in for 12 months may be deleted after 30 days’ notice by email. To delete a workspace sooner, an owner can email privacy@zerqano.com.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes, 10% off when you pay annually. You pay for the year up front; the monthly figure shown for annual billing is that yearly total divided by 12.
Are there discounts for non-profits or small teams?
The one published discount is 10% for annual billing. There’s no separate non-profit or small-team price; the Free plan and Starter are the small-team options.
How can we pay?
You pay on Stripe’s secure checkout page, in US dollars. You never enter card details on Zerqano, so Zerqano never sees or stores your card number. Change your payment method any time in Manage billing.
Where are invoices, and is tax included?
Stripe issues an invoice for every payment, and you can download each one from Manage billing in the app. Prices are in US dollars. Any tax we must collect is added at checkout, and you are responsible for any other tax due on your purchase.
How is our data kept safe?
Every connection uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or 1.3), and the database encrypts data at rest with AES-256. Each workspace’s records are kept apart by organization checks in the API and row-level security in the database. The security page on zerqano.com explains each one. Zerqano holds no security certification yet, and doesn’t claim one.
